The Saints had a bit of a reputation for being a hard team…took no prisoners etc…and none more so than Terry ‘The Terrier’ Paine aka The Pain, Jim Gabriel and John McGrath…they had a great striker duo in Ron Davies and Mick ‘Windmill Arms’ Channon as well and Bobby Stokes was a great servant…and obviously a few years later gets the goal that wins them the F A cup against Man Utd at Wembley.
Mike Judd is my father-in-law’s cousin. He is now a professional toastmaster, and by all accounts, a very good one.
