We've Got a Fuzzbox and We're Gonna Use It (often shortened to Fuzzbox) were an all-girl Birmingham, England based new wave quartet that was loud, gaudy, and mildly controversial. Their sound intermingled punk rock, pop, dance music, and other styles. Founded in 1985, they initially fostered a raw amateurishness to their playing style, but they later developed into a smoother, sexier look as they seemed to seek controversy.
