The Wednesday…great name…they should go back to this strip – old Tommy Craig there – he went to Newcastle later I think, Peter Eustace was a legend, Jim McCalliog went to the Dingles, Don Megson – father of Gary, John Ritchie was a good centre forward went to Stoke later, Peter Springett in goal – good keeper – played for England a few times in the early 60s before Gordon Banks established himself as Englands number 1, Alan Warboys I remember as well and Gerry Young was a Wednesday legend…who unfortunately gave the ball away in the 66 FA Cup against Everton for them to get the winner.
