Hand in Glove is an on-line magazine, It is a scrapbook of nostalgic memories and artefacts, a sound board to voice our anger against anything that irritates or annoys us, a vehicle to showcase the talent that is inherent in us all.
It is unashamedly biased towards bands, artists, football teams, culture, emotions and ideas that have shaped the people we have evolved into, and will continue to change by the volatile and dynamic environment in which we are ensconced.
Hand in Glove is currently in an embryonic state and unsure of it's future direction at this moment in time...
None of the above is is set in stone...

Shanks Red Army…loved these as well…chubby Tommy Lawrence in goal, Alec Lindsay and Chris Lawler full backs, the Iron Tommy Smith and Larry Lloyd at the back (Lloyd going on to play for Notts Forest years later and was immense there)…these two players wouldn’t be on the pitch in the Premiership with the ‘antics’ of todays ‘prima dona’ players, the legend Ron Yeats and also the yopung up and coming Emlyn ‘Crazy Horse’ Hughes. Ian St John was class, Peter Thompson and England legend Roger Hunt plus Liverpool stalwart Ian Callaghan…and also Alun Evans who was from Tipton and went to Willingsworth school… a swaying Kop, Walk On and great school yard memories 🙂
